Has been postdoctoral fellow, Public Health Research Institute, New York, and Dept of Virus Research, Karolinska Institute, Stockholm. Associate professor, National Bact. Laboratory, Stockholm, and professor of microbiology, University of Southern Denmark, Odense. He holds professor qualifications in immunology, virology, pharm. microbiology and med. microbiology. Has been editor/reviewer of several scientific journals and examiner of about 50 Ph.D. thesis. Has served as chairman of WHO subcommittee, president of Scand. Soc. of Immunology and has organized several international meetings. Has lectured on invitation inter alia at New York Univ., NIH, John Hopkins Univ., Tufts Univ, Pasteur Institute and Oxford Univ. Has published about 250 papers in peer-reviewed journals and review articles and chapters in textbooks.

Ellen Holm Nielsen, DVM, DMV

Has been associate professor, Dept of Anatomy, Royal Vet. College, Copenhagen, and associate professor, Dept of Anatomy, Univ. of Southern Denmark, Odense. Has published 75 papers in peer-reviewed journals and written 3 textbooks and 3 anatomical dictionaries. Has been reviewer of cytological and histological journals and research fellow at Univ. of California, Berkeley, at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, and has lectured on invitation at Albert Einstein and at Xinjiang Medical Univ., Peoples Republic of China.

Ove Andersen, MD, Ph.D.

Has been senior registrar, Dept of Medicine, Odense Univ. Hospital and Dept of Inf. Diseases, Hvidovre Univ. Hospital. To-day research director, Clin. Research Unit, Hvidovre Univ. Hospital, Copenhagen. Member of med. council, GCP unit, Copenhagen Univ. Hospital and med. transfusion council, Natl. Board of Health. Associate research professor, Univ. of Copenhagen. Has published 60 papers in peer-reviewed journals.
